Here we are yet again getting ready for another Walk To End Alzheimer’s. This marks the 5th Walk since my Mother, Connie, has missed since her passing in 2018. Each year since that day I cheerish the memories I have of her bundled up boot scooting booging around Kliner Park. I could lie to you and tell you it gets easier with time, but it doesn’t. The one thing that has mattered to me the most was being able to make a difference for someone else down the line. Some other Family who is just now stepping into the world of this disease uncertain about the future.
This is why I walk, that one day we will have our first SURVIVOR of Alzheimer’s.
